James Brown
Brother Brown has served as a deacon for Midway since 1999. He serves specifically in areas of Fellowship. He and Marcy have been married for over 18 years. They have two daughters: Danielle (13) and Megan Gray (16) He enjoys fishing and time in nature.
Tim Brown
Brother Brown has served as a deacon for Midway since 2006. He serves specifically in areas of Education and Youth. He and his wife Leigh have been married for over 14 years. They have two daughters: Darla and Kaity. He works as a Diesel Technician Supervisor. He enjoys sports, traveling, and working with the young people of the church.
Wayne Gray
Brother Gray has served as a deacon for Midway since 1998. He serves specifically in areas of Buildings/Grounds and Attendance. He has been married to Debra for over 30 years. They have two daughters: Christina and Mariel. Brother Gray works as a Lineman for Alabama Power. He enjoys fishing and gardening.
Steve Gunter
Brother Gunter has served as a deacon for Midway since 2008. He works closely with bus and trailer maintenance. He is married to Kathy and they have two sons, Kasey and Kody. He works at Ryder.
Ray Huffstutler
Brother Huffstutler has served as a deacon at Midway since ****. He works most closely with worship participants. He is married to Renee. They have three children–Justin, Brittany, and Cameron–and four grandchildren.
Joe Nichols
Brother Nichols has served as a deacon since 2007. He works closely with teen & adult education as well as the college group. He is married to Cathy and they have two children, Derek and Lauren. Joe works for Byars & Associates Insurance Agency.
Jeff Sparks
Brother Sparks has served as a deacon since 2007. He works closely with benevolence. He is married to Carmen and they have one son, Joey. Jeff works for Daybreak of Jasper.
Larry Thompson
Brother Thompson has served as a deacon for Midway since 2005. He serves specifically in areas of Electronics (sound, powerpoint, etc.) and Visitation. He also handles House to House/Heart to Heart mailing responsibilities. He and Connie have been married for over 36 years. The Thompsons have one son, Jeremy.He is retired from AT&T. He enjoys bow hunting and fishing.
David Wright
Brother Wright has served as a deacon for Midway since 2006. He serves specifically in areas of Education. He and his wife Neena have been married for over 19 years. They have two children: Madison and Matthew. He currently works in the Steel Industry. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and reading.
